Donald Lee Tolin, Attorney & Counselor At Law, has been a licensed attorney in Wyoming for forty (40) years. He is married to Vickie Tolin, his legal assistant and office manager since 1978. The parents of four adult children, they also have six grandchildren. He graduated in 1972 from Casper College (Casper, WY) with an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Science. He graduated in 1975 with a Bachelors of Science Degree With Honor in Accounting from the College of Commerce and Industry at the University of Wyoming (Laramie, WY.) He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1978 from the College of Law at the University of Wyoming (Laramie, WY.) He is licensed to practice in all Wyoming Courts including the Wyoming Supreme Court; the United States District Court for the Districts of Wyoming and Colorado; the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit; and the United States Tax Court. He is also licensed to practice in the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribal Courts on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. Since 1975 he also has held a Wyoming Certificate (inactive) as a Certified Public Accountant. He was the general manager of a family recycling, scrap processing, new steel warehouse, and fabrication business (Casper Iron & Metal, Inc.) employing at times as many as fifty employees and grossing in excess of six million dollars in sales. He was also licensed as a substitute teacher by the Wyoming Professional Licensing Board and taught grades K through 12 for about five years in Natrona County. He is currently a member of the Wyoming Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel for the District of Wyoming as a federal criminal defense attorney; and has previously served as an Assistant Public Defender and a Guardian Ad Litem for the State of Wyoming.
