Thomas L. Edwards

Thomas L. Edwards is a lifelong Floridian. He was born in Miami Beach and grew up in Hollywood, Florida. He moved to Gainesville to attend college and graduated from the University of Florida (Bachelor of Science with Honors, 1983). Upon graduation, he was selected by the University of Florida to be the first student to participate in the combined Criminology and Law program and became that program's first graduate in 1986 obtaining his Masters Degree with Honors and his Juris Doctorate. Thomas L. Edwards is a former President of the Federal Bar Association for the Northern District of Florida, a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a former President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for the Eighth Judicial Circuit chapter.
