Alan Green was born and raised in Spokane, and attended Lewis and Clark High School. After graduating from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy, he moved to Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. Alan graduated early from law school, while working for one of the pre-eminent non-profit environmental and land use attorneys in the country and handling major state and federal litigation over land use issues involving development in the Florida Keys and Everglades. Alan spent the next five years practicing law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, handling worker’s compensation, personal injury, premises liability, auto negligence, products liability and other civil matters. Alan quickly became the managing attorney in charge of the South Florida region for a national civil law firm based out of Tennessee. Alan managed that office until deciding to return to Spokane in 2007. In 2010, Alan formed The Green Law Office in order to provide the people of Spokane and Eastern Washington with aggressive, cost-effective legal representation. He advises and represents clients from every walk of life, from large businesses to individuals. Alan is truly a full service counselor, and represents clients with personal injury claims, estate planning concerns, matters concerning large and small businesses, first- and third-party insurance disputes, consumer protection claims, and the restoration of clients’ rights. In addition to his general civil practice, Alan is also an equity partner and registered in-house counsel for the web and software design company, Imaginary Trout, LLC, and the Montana-based fly fishing company, CATCH Fly Fishing (for whom he is also on the design staff.)
