Sonja Duckstein

I was born in Tucson, Arizona. Yes it’s a far cry from the big city, but I finally made it to Phoenix, Arizona in 1991. In the meantime, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Honors in Biochemistry in 1987. From 1987 to 1998, I worked at the Arizona Cancer Center as a Research Assistant studying different treatments for Cancer patients. Making no sense to myself at all, I applied and was accepted to law school at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. So, I went to Ohio. Originally, my aspiration was to become an Environmental Attorney.
