Philip T. Edwards Partner

Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1976, Philip Edwards attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina. After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Edwards attended Widener Law School in Delaware, graduating cum laude. While at Widener, Mr. Edwards was named to the law school's Moot Court Honor Society, and awarded the Order of the Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy. He also served as a law clerk intern for Justice Joseph T. Walsh of the Delaware Supreme Court, and clerked at the Delaware County Pennsylvania District Attorney's Office. During his time with the Delaware Supreme Court, Mr. Edwards drafted bench memoranda and Court opinions on issues ranging from complex corporate governance to death penalty appeals. As a clerk for the Delaware County District Attorney's office, Mr. Edwards was responsible for prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. Mr. Edward's practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice and insurance disputes. He is already recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the Delaware Bar.
