Michael C. May

Michael C. May, founding and managing partner of May Law, is an aggressive litigator who has represented clients in courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia in civil and criminal matters. He has experience in all manner of litigation, having represented both businesses and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants. He has been honored by Virginia Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite” from 2012 to the present and was named one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” for 2021. Mr. May is equally comfortable in the practice of business litigation, employment law, domestic relations/family law, and criminal law. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia; he is also a proud member of the Virginia and Prince William Bar Associations. Mr. May is fluent in Spanish and has assisted the Firm in numerous litigation matters where such fluency has been required.
