Melissa Davies

Attorney Melissa Davies is an integral part of the team at Ruane Attorneys. As a bilingual speaker, she is able to help a range of clients and help them feel at ease during their criminal proceedings. As a bilingual speaker, I realized from an early age the difficulty that people who do not speak English in this country face. I knew that whatever profession I chose, I wanted to use my ability to speak both Spanish and English to help those who cannot speak English. That is when I learned about different types of law related to non-English speakers, and decided to become a lawyer. I worked at a nonprofit immigration group straight out of law school helping Spanish speaking immigrants, and then I did personal injury for two years. After that, I got married and moved to Connecticut, where I started working at Ruane Attorneys.
