Matthew J. Brier

Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Matthew J. Brier takes pride in defending the rights of the people of his hometown. From an early age Brier knew that law was his calling. After earning a BA in History from Brandeis University in 1988, Brier was ready to hone in on his truest passion: becoming a lawyer. He attended the respected Vermont Law School, graduating with a JD and Masters in Environmental Law. Building upon his educational experience, Brier realized the importance of perfecting his craft through active membership in prestigious associations including: American and Rhode Island Bar Associations, US District Court of Rhode Island, National Employment Lawyers Association. His specific work as an unemployment lawyer has helped countless people throughout Rhode Island who find themselves up against the deep pockets of large corporations and insurance companies.
