PRACTICE SUMMARY Marisa's practice involves defense of complex litigation on behalf of developers and general contractors, including the defense of construction defect claims brought by homeowners’ associations, individual homeowners of single family homes and commercial sites. On many occasions, Marisa defends her clients against claims involving products liability, mold, toxic torts and environmental issues, and resulting personal injury claims. Marisa's litigation practice also involves litigation in both state and Federal courts regarding community covenants and controls; contract and indemnification claims; fraud and misrepresentation claims and business torts; insurance coverage litigation; premises liability; fire cause and origin investigations; and real estate matters.
