Attorney Scot Sikes is a seasoned Georgia and Military Trial Lawyer and Army Veteran who focuses on aggressive yet compassionate representation of individuals facing difficult legal circumstances. Mr. Sikes focuses on several legal practice areas — including worldwide court-martial defense; civilian criminal law cases (including Federal and State DUI defense); military and civilian divorce, custody and other family law matters; and plaintiff’s personal injury and auto accident cases. Born in Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Sikes is a Georgia native and lifetime resident, and his familial roots span over 300 years with his ancestors and himself serving the State of Georgia and the Nation in both the military and public service sectors. Mr. Sikes grew up on the coast in historic Liberty County, home of Fort Stewart, Georgia and the highly decorated 3rd Infantry Division, Rock of the Marne. Being raised in a military community, Mr. Sikes was instilled at a young age with a deep and sincere sense of patriotism and appreciation for those who serve our country in uniform. Upon graduating from Bradwell Institute with honors in 1987, Mr. Sikes began his own journey of military service by accepting his State Senator’s nomination for one of only twenty Georgia Military Scholarships to attend the University of North Georgia (formerly North Georgia College). He simultaneously joined the Georgia Army National Guard as an enlisted engineer and later became a SMP Cadet.
