David C. Buran was born and raised in Plattsburgh, New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1984 from Vassar College, and thereafter earned a Jurisprudence Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University in 1987. After working for a year, Mr. Buran returned to school to obtain a second law degree - a Masters of Laws in Taxation - from New York University. Mr. Buran moved to Vermont in 1992 to join the Burlington, VT law firm of Saxer Anderson Wolinsky & Sunshine, as an associate.
