Tom received his law degree with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998. Prior to law school, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance with honors in 1995. His practice focuses on adoptions, family law, ​and mediation and arbitration services. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Columbus Bar Association, and the Family Law Bar of the Chattahoochee Circuit. He is a registered neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution as a mediator and arbitrator for general civil matters, domestic matters, juvenile delinquency cases and is certified to mediate cases involving family violence. In 2015, Tom was admitted as a Fellow in the Georgia Council of Adoption Lawyers. Previously, Tom was an associate with the law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP and interned for the Hon. P. Harris Hines, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. He lives in Columbus with his wife and four children.
