Christopher P. Welch has been a trial attorney for more than 10 years. He has handled hundreds of criminal cases of every type of felony and misdemeanor offense including assault, battery, child abuse/neglect, domestic violence, gang crimes, shootings, driving crimes, drug offenses, DUI, resisting arrest, juvenile crimes, homicide, attempted homicide, mental health crimes/issues, probation violations, sex related crimes, sexual assault, theft crimes, three strikes, traffic offenses and violent crimes. He is known as one of the most aggressive attorneys and will work tirelessly to get you the best outcome possible. Mr. Welch received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his Law Degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, he was involved in several organizations including the Innocence Project, where he worked to free wrongly accused individuals. Mr. Welch is currently a Board Member on the Ventura County Criminal Defense Bar Association. He is a member of good standing with the California Bar Association, Ventura County Criminal Bar Association, Ventura County Bar Association, the U.S. District Court, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and California Public Defenders Association.
