When Kristina Retzlaff graduated from law school, she chose a career that would allow her to help people in their day-to-day lives. “I chose family law because I wanted to work with people who, on a daily basis, would not normally have a need for an attorney,” Kristina says. “What I enjoy most as I work with my clients is seeing the point when they realize that they are going to be okay. Early in the process of a divorce, or any lawsuit, really, people have a lot of doubt about the legal system, their future, their finances, and the children. With my help, there comes a point in the process when they realize ‘life’s going to be different, but I’m still going to be fine’. It is extremely rewarding to witness that transformation.”
