Kathleen DeLacy

Kathleen DeLacy, Partner in the Firm’s Estates & Trusts, Business Succession Planning and Real Estate Groups, has been assisting businesses and individuals located throughout the State of Delaware for more than 20 years. She began working at Reger Rizzo & Darnall in the winter of 2012, forming the Delaware Estates & Trust Department. In November 2014, the firm opened an office in Rehoboth Beach, DE in order to expand the services offered to our downstate clients. Ms. DeLacy is proud to share time between the Firm’s Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach offices in an effort to accommodate the needs of her clients state-wide. Kathy has extensive experience offering estate planning, estate and trust administration and probate services as well as elder law assistance, including asset protection planning for long-term care (Medicaid and VA). She assists clients with estate planning issues, particularly in light of the complex issues facing same-sex couples and the newly enacted law allowing same-sex couples to marry in Delaware, and she handled the first same-sex adoption case which set a precedent in the state of Delaware.
