Kacey serves her community as a member of the Deep Creek Ruritan Club and as a member of Alliance Christian Church. She is a member of the Virginia Young Lawyer Division of the Virginia State Bar. Kacey has given numerous presentations to the Virginia Housing Development Authority's® first-time homebuyer's course on the loan-closing process, and has presented multiple seminars on the probate process as well as the legal aspects of owning a small business. She has also served as a member of the faculty for continuing legal education courses. Finally, Kacey was an adjunct professor in the paralegal department at Bryant and Stratton College in Virginia Beach, and has taught courses for the Paralegal Knowledge Institute. Kacey is married to Adam Carnegie. The couple, along with their daughter, Elsi, and miniature rat terrier, Chicken, currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia.
