Joel A. Rice

Joel A. Rice, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2001. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from E. J. Ourso College of Business (L.S.U. Baton Rouge) in 2005. He also earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2005 and was admitted to the practice of law in Louisiana that same year. Mr. Rice began his legal career in 2005 at a mid-sized firm located in downtown Shreveport, where his primary areas of practice were in oil and gas law, contracts, and title examination. In early 2008 he left the firm to pursue an in-house position with a local oil and gas exploration company where he served as Land & Legal until mid-2010.
