Hakeem Ishola has been practicing law since 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from Troy State University. He graduated from the University of Utah College of Law in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1991, where he was an editor on the Utah Law Review and obtained distinction in legal writing, criminal law and immigration. Hakeem is licensed to practice law in Texas and Utah. Hakeem began his career 1988 where clerked and worked as an Associate at Yengich, Rich & Xaiz, in Salt Lake City, Utah, until 1997. Hakeem then left the firm and began his successful solo career and founded Ishola Law Firm, PC. In 2010, Hakeem Aaron Tarin, formed Ishola-Tarin PLLC, where they eventually lead a team of 7 experienced attorneys and represented a wide range of clients from all over the world in immigration matters and criminal defense. In 2014, Hakeem founded Ishola Law Group, LLC, and is currently its managing partner and owner. Hakeem teaches an immigration law class at the Salt Lake Community College. He is a past lecturer at Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (UACDL) and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
