Emma M. Shie

Attorney Thomas Shie grew up in Davenport, Iowa, and graduated from Davenport West High School. Tom played on the varsity tennis team and worked part-time in the Sports Department at the Quad-City Times Newspaper during high school. At the University of Iowa, Tom was a member of Acacia Fraternity, serving as Treasurer for two years, worked part-time at the Dental Science Building during school, and graduated from the University of Iowa Business School with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting. Tom then attended law school at IIT - Chicago Kent College of Law in the Chicago Loop was a member of law review, worked part-time as a law clerk for two Chicago law firms during law school, and was admitted to the prestigious Order of Coif for graduating in the top 10% of his graduating class.
