David W. Bonilla

My life has been dedicated to learning how to be successful as a criminal defense lawyer. I studied Public Administration at Cal State Fresno and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I attended McGeorge School of Law (UOP) and finished in the top seven percent of my class while also winning a top student award in criminal law. While studying, I obtained valuable on-hands experience by working for the California Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Madera County Office of the District Attorney. After gaining this experience as a prosecutor, I decided to use my talents to defend persons unjustly accused of crimes by the government. My time as a criminal defense attorney has been spent successfully defending criminal defendants and protecting the liberties of people accused of serious offenses such as: gun related offenses, drug crimes, three strikes offenses, armed robberies, embezzlement, and sex related crimes.
