In traditional representation, your attorney serves as your advocate, speaks on your behalf, drafts every document, and represents you in court. If you hire Cromwell Law for traditional representation, you agree to pay a retainer up front, which is kept in a trust account. Each month, your attorney will send you a detailed invoice, billed at their hourly rate, with descriptions of the work completed. Payments are then drawn directly from this retainer. When you receive your invoice, you will see the time billed, the work completed, and the balance remaining in your trust account. Any interest on the account goes to support the Montana Justice Foundation for access to justice and legal aid programs in Montana. `
