The Carroll Law Firm is committed to excellence in the defense of citizens accused of Driving Under the Influence in South Carolina. The mission of the Firm is to ethically and aggressively provide the best defense available for every client. While Firm founder Drew Carroll has successfully defended the full range of criminal defense charges from murder to traffic offenses, the Carroll Law Firm focuses on the defense of DUI and DUI related charges. The firm was established in January 2010, when Mr. Carroll transitioned his defense practice from the Joye Law Firm into his own law firm. For more than three decades, the Joye Law Firm was known as the premier DUI defense firm in South Carolina. Firm founder Reese Joye enjoyed a national reputation as the dean of DUI defense. In 1999 Joye personally recruited Drew to join his practice. After jointly defending hundreds of DUI cases for more than five years, Reese turned over the role of lead trial counsel in all DUI cases to Drew, and then in 2006 Reese named Drew manager of the Firm’s DUI and criminal defense practice. The experience, education and expertise that Drew gained during his time with the Joye Law Firm forms the foundation upon which the Carroll Law Firm is built.
