Becky Vishnefski Founder, Attorney

Becky Vishnefski grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Caddo Magnet in 1988 where she was active on the debate team. Becky earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from LSU Shreveport in 1997. She earned her Juris Doctor from LSU Law in 2000. In law school, Becky was the Articles Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and also competed on the Moot Court Team, winning Best Brief in the Region. She graduated 8th in her class (top 5 percent) and is a member of the Order of the Coif. After law school, Becky did a one year federal clerkship with the Honorable Frank J. Polozola, United States District Court, Middle District of Louisiana. Becky launched Vishnefski Law Firm, LLC in 2019. She has been listed by SB Magazine as a "Top Attorney" every year since she opened the firm. Becky represents clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, paternal rights, community property and adoptions. She also represents out-of-state and military clients in enforcing and modifying custody judgments from other states. A smaller, more focused practice allows Becky to provide highly personalized service to each of her clients. Becky is also qualified as a family law mediator to help parties resolve their disputes outside of the courtroom. Becky has served on the Board of the Shreveport Bar Foundation and continues to represent clients through the Pro Bono Project.
