Amrita Ashok Khan Staff Attorney

Amrita Ashok Khan is a staff attorney in the Liberty Defense Project (“LDP”) at the Long Island office. Amrita assists clients with a variety of immigration issues in state and federal courts. Amrita has always wanted to help people, and has a long history of working with vulnerable populations as a social worker and as an attorney. She has an inter-disciplinary background, and holds graduate degrees in law and social work. She has experience with family and immigration law, and has practiced in federal and state courts throughout the New York metropolitan area. She is admitted to the New York state and federal bars, and is a member of local bar associations. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family, watching movies, and traveling.
